ShowlistDC Music Notes: Wednesday 02-29-12

Hello world. Are you there?
I started this “Music Notes” feature in early February, when Andrew Beaujon left TBD.com and the daily TBD ArtsBook went on hiatus. I told myself that I’d give it a month and see how it went. So, Leap Day seems a fitting time to ask for feedback: are you liking this daily round-up of local music news and reviews? Are there other things you’d like to read here? Things you’d like to see more (or less) of? Changes in formatting to make this page easier to read? Please let me know, either by leaving a comment here or by sending me an email (showlistdc@gmail.com). Thanks!

• DCist’s this week in hip-hop.
• Live reviews: Dulani Wallace on Galactic at the 9:30 Club [the Vinyl District]. Erica Bruce’s photos of Elikeh at the Rock & Roll Hotel [Washington CityPaper].
