Additional Venue Information: Tickets: from ticketfly.com with a service fee, or from the venue any night the club is open (8PM - midnight), in cash. Location: Washington DC's U Street Neighborhood (14th St NW between S and T). Public Transportation: Metro to the U Street/African-American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo station (green/yellow lines). Exit at 13th & U, turn left on 14th Street, and walk about 3 blocks to the venue. Parking: Street parking only (no club parking lot). Age Restrictions: All-ages, but be aware of DC's curfew laws for those under the age of 17. Food: The Food For Thought Cafe is attached to the Black Cat and offers vegan/vegetarian food as well as standard bar food like burgers. There are also tons of restaurants near the club as well. Stages: The Black Cat has two performance spaces: the larger Mainstage (capacity ~700) and the smaller Backstage (capacity ~200), which is on the ground level behind the Red Room bar. The Red Room bar is open without a cover. Money: The Black Cat is entirely CASH-ONLY. There's an ATM in the Red Room Bar and at ATM upstairs in the Mainstage room.
